Who we are

Grand Deals is run by Antonio Tenllado Humanes in Ireland, 29 Arda Raith Wood, Tullyallen, Co. Louth, Ireland. Email: info@granddeals.ie.

We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect today

Browsing this site: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security, for a short period. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the site safe.
Visit statistics: we count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device and does not identify you. Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing which pages are useful.
Clicking a deal: we add one to that deal's click counter. We do not link the click to you.
Emailing us: we keep your message to reply and for our records.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal data.

Shops you visit

When you click through to a shop, that shop and the affiliate network (for example Amazon or Awin) may set their own cookies to record that you came from us. Their privacy policies apply there.

If you create an account

What: your email address, the username you pick, and what you do on the site (votes, comments, saved deals, reports).
Why: to run your account and the community features you asked for (legal basis: contract), and to stop abuse such as fake votes (legitimate interest).
Who sees it: your username and comments are public. Your email and your individual votes are never shown.
Where: accounts are handled by Supabase, our database and login provider, under a data processing agreement. Signing in with Google shares your name and email with us from Google.
Cookies: logging in sets a cookie that keeps you signed in. It is strictly necessary, so it needs no consent.
How long: until you delete your account from your account page. Your comments then stay, shown as “deleted user”.
You must be 16 or over to create an account.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, or object to how we use it: email info@granddeals.ie. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission.
